Therapy is a journey wherein you discover the solutions and/or answers which bring you here. I will support and help you in the discovery of them. I have over twenty five years of experience serving children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families. I have worked in inpatient and partial hospital settings as a therapist and clinical director in Des Moines, Omaha Nebraska and Glenwood, Iowa. I have worked in residential care as a clinician and program coordinator for the treatment of children, adolescents and their families in Des Moines. I have spent the past fifteen years in private practice. I specialize in working with preteens, adolescents, adults, elders and couples. I provide individual, family and couples therapy. You can count on a relaxed, “safe zone,” setting. Humor is valued. I promote the balance of mind, body and spirit. I bring a strength based, solution focused, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral approach to the therapeutic process. Yay you! Just by exploring this site you are already on the path of self care.
