Therapist Overview
!*ACCEPTING CLIENTS*! “What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality.” I am a firm believer that change begins from the inside-out. As your therapist, I will work collaboratively in developing solutions catered to your reality that best fit your present and future self. I specialize in helping individuals and families with anxiety, familial conflict, coping skills, trauma, sexual issues, women’s issues, and other life transitions. I also specialize in working with marginalized communities such as the Black, LGBTQ, and HIV/AIDS community. I will provide you with a set of tools that you will be able to utilize outside of therapy. As a Level 1 Gottman Couple’s therapist, I possess a set of skills to assist my clients in learning how to safely communicate, rebuild trust, identify unhealthy interaction patterns, create and restore safety in their marriage or relationship, and restore hope. Resolving conflict without it escalating is a learned skill. If you are here, you are willing! I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for a therapist. I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we take the time to explore if I am the right therapist for you. My office is intended to be a safe, yet impactful environment in which any person from any walk of life would feel welcomed. It would be my pleasure to go on this journey with you!
