As a License Professional Counselor, I believe in addressing a client’s needs by first accepting that their individual journey is the key in understanding them. The similarities of most people with mental health diagnosis is a common thread of trauma. Each person has experienced events in their life that has caused them distress. Every person decides what the concern has cost their mental health and life. From that foundation, therapy can begin to assist the client in thriving to conquer their situations with the disorder or learn to cope with them to live a more fuller life.
