Amy L. Young is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing assistance in a nurturing, safe, caring environment. In young children who are learning to express their emotions and develop coping strategies, Amy has found great success with a play-based therapy approach. She will provide an individualized plan that supports your child at school, at home, and in the community, with a focus on building coping skills, self-esteem and improving relationships. In addition to counseling children and young adults, Amy is available for adult, family and couples counseling. She can assist those seeking help with parenting, stress, grief, divorce, aging and life transitions. Families of special needs children face unique challenges and Amy provides counseling to strengthen marriages and assist siblings.
