Therapist Overview

There have been numerous times in my life where I have needed to count on someone. Family and friends are a necessary and appreciated support for all of us however, someone outside of our personal relationships is often desirable and more effective. In those moments, I am thankful that counselors exist and I don’t have to go it alone. Similarly, times arise in our role as parents where our children may need help in a way that is outside of the structure and guidance that we offer as parents. As the saying goes, “it takes a village.” As a parent, I have counted on others many times. Just as there are occasions where I need help, I have always felt drawn to support others. I became a counselor so that I could fulfill this calling. I started in the field back in 1998 when I began my degree in psychology.
