I am passionate about working with children, teens, & adults with trauma, grief, behavioral/impulsive issues, sensory processing issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, & low self-worth. I have been working with children, teens, adults, & families in various settings for almost 20 years. Most of the clients I currently see are between the ages of 4 to 16. The majority of the statements or concerns I hear are my child is very strong willed, is impulsive, is anxious, has experienced trauma, has behavioral issues, has school issues, &/or has a low self-worth. I provide empathy & support to the parents through this journey with their child. I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern. In private practice, my approach to treatment is integrative; I am an advocate for play, art, music, & recreational-based therapy for young children & a strengths based approach and evidence-based practice modality for youth and adults. I have training in TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, and using a strengths based model. Making the first phone call to a therapist can be an overwhelming one.
