My therapeutic approach is to work with you identifying your potential and the factors that maybe preventing you from achieving your goals. Together we will find and tailor the best therapeutic intervention to assist you.I also offer supervision for LGPCs and for LCPCs. I have 41 years of clinical experience initially as a physician and psychiatrist in Brazil, my birth country, and subsequently as a psychotherapist in the United States. I work with the different stages of the life span – from infancy until the older years. My training in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry and psychotherapy assists me in better understanding the different developmental stages of life. My areas of expertise include, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma,bereavement, and family problems. I was trained and practiced as a physician and psychiatrist in Brazil prior to moving to the United States, which assists me in my therapy practice. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
