Therapist Overview
My therapy style is trauma-informed and person-centered at heart with true genuineness, empathy and unconditional positive regard for individuals, families and couples. I believe the core of human existence is relational and we thrive with positive connection in a validating environment. My goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are at in your process of change and offer guidance as sessions progress. I also tend to be a direct communicator and will use this to aide you in achieving your therapeutic goals all while utilizing a little humor. I am a systemic therapist and use a biopsychosocial perspective. I have experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, families, couples and adults coping with suicide, PTSD, sexual and emotional abuse, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, addiction, personality disorders, oppositional and conduct disorders, grief, transgender persons and their families, separation/divorce and bonding between child and caregiver. I would welcome a chance to work with you on your journey to hope and healing. For your convenience and privacy I offer in home or telehealth therapy. I am currently working on offering in school sessions for children and adolescents.
