Jeni Willenzik

I am passionate about providing innovative and evidence-based counseling for children, adolescents, and their families. I use a positive and strengths-based approach, striving to empower my clients with increased confidence and stability. I believe that children are resilient, and with the support of additional coping tools and an expressive outlet, all children can learn and grow, and feel understood and valued. I believe we can use both our darkest and brightest experiences to reach our fullest potential. I began my career as a second-grade teacher and have worked with children and adolescents in school settings, community and outpatient mental health, and private practice. I have extensive training in play therapy, and also interweave play into other attachment-focused and trauma-focused modalities including CBT, ARC, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR.
