Sometimes life just gets messy and overwhelming. Life can be a struggle with a mental illness, and/or living with someone with a mental illness. I work with children, teens, adults, and families who are facing challenges associated with emotional wellness. Whether you or your child struggle with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, defiant behaviors, emotional dysregulation, trauma, or other issues, you should know that you are not alone. I view therapy as a collaborative process where I work with an individual or family to bring about positive change. All behavior has meaning. By understanding the purpose of behavior we are better equipped to produce lasting change. I believe in repairing relationships, increasing positive communication, and repairing early attachment disruption for children and families. I use a strengths-based perspective and draw from several clinical approaches depending on presenting issues, mental health diagnoses, individual’s needs and preferences, and the ag
