Therapist Overview
There are many reasons why you may be considering therapy for yourself or a loved one. Depression, anxiety, substance use, self esteem, as well as family and social issues are quite common, especially among adolescents. I have been working as an Art Therapist with people of all ages since 2001. I have additional training in treating trauma and substance abuse. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) with training in various trauma therapy models including Brainspotting. I provide a collaborative and empathic approach that also includes supportive mind-body strategies. I work mainly with tweens, teens and adults. Using my Art Therapy, counseling, trauma and addiction training, I help people access their own creative problem solving skills in order to work through painful emotions and build on their strengths. Uncovering one’s innate ability to regulate feelings and behaviors often results in enhanced self esteem. Reaching out
