Therapist Overview

Research shows that women are at the highest risk of experiencing psychological distress during pregnancy and postpartum. Transition can be difficult – even positive changes can lead to an increase in stress and negatively impact mental health. As a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in maternal mental health, I provide psychotherapy with clients who are seeking to conceive, are currently pregnant, postpartum, or have experienced a pregnancy loss or stressful birth experience. I enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds and am an LGBT-affirmative psychologist. My therapy approach is warm, collaborative, and integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness/acceptance-based interventions. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship empowers my clients towards change and growth. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental space in which to express difficult thoughts and feelings and learn adaptive coping skills. With care and expertise in research-supported psychotherap
