Supporting clients as they navigate difficult transitions is a cornerstone of my practice. Dating, divorce, professional identity, and parenthood often find us struggling with behaviors that are incongruent with life goals and values. I enjoy supporting my clients as they challenge self-defeating scripts that stand in the way of leading authentic lives and offer a safe environment in which to do so. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as insight-driven work, clients feel emboldened to make more genuine and satisfying life choices. I received my B.S. in Biology as well as Philosophy from the UNC at Chapel Hill and my graduate degree from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology.
