Therapist Overview

I provide warm, empathetic, and effective care to individuals, couples, and families using some of the best, scientifically validated methods available. My goal is to help you find quick relief while developing the kinds of solutions that have long term, positive results. Because everyone is different, I customize treatment to the specific needs of each person I work with and I go at the client’s desired pace. I primarily treat depression, anxiety, addiction, and family issues emphasizing work with children and parents. I see children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. For those who so desire, I provide an integrated approach with psychology and spirituality. I am sensitive to these specific issues because of my pastoral experience. I am Prepare/Enrich certified and have completed Gottman Level I training. I also specialize in working with teens and young adults, ages 12 to 25. For a more detailed list of the disorders I treat, please visit my website – www.newmyercounseling.
