Therapist Overview
I am dedicated to helping people navigate life transitions, heal unresolved trauma, cope with grief and loss, manage anxiety and depression, and discover their authenticity. In particular, I am passionate about helping mothers to be their most empowered, authentic selves. Being a parent gives us many opportunities to heal our own wounds. I use a strength-based and trauma-informed approach to help people examine, nourish, and heal their wounds so they can parent in a conscious and connected manner. This often means coming to terms with your story and rewriting it so that you can be the parent you want to be for your child. I take a compassionate approach in my work, believing that everyone is doing the best they can, and that we all need support, connection, and felt-safety for our best, authentic selves to shine. I integrate mindfulness, CBT, ACT, and positive psychology to achieve therapeutic growth and healing. I also incorporate psychodynamic theory into my work. We all hold the ability to become ever wiser, stronger, happier, and more compassionate through overcoming life’s challenges. Many life transitions are opportunities to discover our authenticity and heal unresolved trauma. I look forward to speaking with you about how I can help you to discover your best, authentic self!
