Therapist Overview
I believe that everyone needs a space where their thoughts and feelings matter. I aim to make my office a place where people can explore what is on their mind without fear of judgment. I’m trained and experienced in EMDR and Internal Family Systems techniques, which are powerful approaches that help people to understand themselves and take what is beneficial from their experiences, while removing what was not helpful. I specialize in treating PTSD, dissociation, LGBTQ+ issues, and anxiety/depression. I also enjoy working with addictions or those who are in recovery from addictions, as well as with children and teens. With children, I utilize play therapy techniques which are effective for treating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, anger, and behavioral issues. With all of my clients I work from a strengths-based approach while also adjusting frame of mind to temper emotional reactions. I enjoy helping others work towards becoming the best version of themselves. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and together with my expertise I aim to help discover solutions that are helpful for you!
