Being here can feel lonely, but you’re not alone. If you’re still reading this, I imagine you’ve felt this way once or twice. As kids, we explore the world with curiosity and enthusiasm. Then at some point exploration gives way to expectation- we seek milestones, expect certain outcomes and criticize ourselves for falling short. What would it be like to regain a sense of exploration? It would be my honor to show you how! I have expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and was trained at the Beck Institute. My treatment style, which combines mindfulness-based practices with traditional CBT, has been effective in decreasing symptoms of depression and anxiety in my full-time role at Yale. I’m known by my patients for my enthusiasm, sense of humor and compassion. It’s important you feel safe, comfortable and at ease during this time, without judgment.
