Therapist Overview
Everybody deserves to live their best life. If you’re not living yours, there is hope. A happy, healthy and purpose driven life, with quality relationships can be achieved. I believe an improved quality of life, mental, physical, emotional and social, is achieved through a multidimensional approach to their health, building upon their strengths and partnering with individuals, couples and families through a safe, supportive, nonjudgement environment, respecting their hopes, dreams, and desires. I am passionate about helping individuals, families and groups obtain the quality of life they deserve through the process of change. For the past 12 years, I’ve provided a safe, supportive, nonjudgement environment for individuals, couples, families and the LGBTQ+ Community to work towards their full potential. I have gained specialized knowledge in Trauma, Substance Use, Depression, Anxiety and Self Harm. I am a LMSW and CAADC, trained in EMDR, Gestalt, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. EMDR is an evidenced based intervention for working with individuals who have experienced trauma or disturbing events in their lives that keep them stuck. The protocol quickly moves an individual through disturbing events and negative self-beliefs, to positive self-beliefs, quickly eliminating emotional distress.
