I am currently welcoming new clients who are looking for help with transitions in life, dealing with grief, loss, emotional disturbance, or struggling with traumatic experiences. I serve children, teens, and adults using a wide range of techniques and approaches while believing that you have the answers to your problems. I’m here to walk beside you on your journey and give support where it’s needed and to challenge you to achieve your therapeutic goals, whatever they are! I take an empathic, honest approach to healing an assisting you in making the changes you would like to see in your life. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient and inpatient settings. I bring a calm presence to therapy sessions and treat clients with compassion and patience. I use EMDR and a trauma-informed perspective to assist with a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges, and incorporate mindfulness meditation as well. I counseled adolescents and their families in psychiatric residential treatment in Colorado Springs, CO for 3 years before moving to the Appleton area. My job is to listen actively and remain mindful of your concerns while we explore ineffective behaviors and life’s difficulties.
