Does life ever get so busy you feel you can’t keep up? Are you feeling tired or emotional? The stories of our lives are being written and we often imagine nothing can change. The story of your life isn’t over and it can change, you can change. Sometimes what we are doing isn’t working, sometimes it’s the situation you are in. If you’re feeling hurt, depressed, or anxious about life as it is now, or something coming up, finding and using the skills to write positive chapters and endings is possible. Together, we’ll look at your story from a strengths based perspective. Depending on the situation, short term forward thinking therapy is used to find positive outcomes. Using a strengths based approach we can discover internal dialogues and ways of thinking and being that might be inhibiting forward movement. Finding someone to talk with when you’re hurt, stuck, or confused can be draining, even daunting. I will work with you to create a safe and comfortable environment where we will begin to uncover the story that has you stuck. Together will then find the path most comfortable for you to find forward movement.
