Therapist Overview
Seeking help and support is utterly courageous! It means you are listening to yourself and tuned in to the feeling that something needs to change. You will find that when you address your mental health, your body feels different, your thinking sounds different, and your life choices and ability to handle distressing experiences look different. I offer a compassionate, safe, & open space for people to learn how to more fully connect with themselves, build awareness & support, and identify what they need to create and live new, reparative life patterns and allow their mind and body the foundation and experiences they need to heal. I am experienced in treating mental health conditions such as mood disorders and trauma/PTSD, behavioral concerns, relationship issues, & I work with adults, adolescents, children, and families. I use varying treatment approaches including but not limited to EMDR, somatic work, attachment-based, interpersonal, expressive arts, CBT, DBT, IFS, & Brainspotting. After 7 years working in mental health as a case manager, counselor and therapist, I whole-heartedly believe that people do well when they can, and if they are not doing well, we can work together to find a way to create change, repair, and wellness.
