Therapist Overview
Living with frequently intense emotions is tough, and suffering sucks. Everyone’s story matters and every life is worth living. I work to inspire and empower my clients, while helping them gain a healthier relationship with themselves and others. I enjoy working with adolescents as well as adults, and my experience revolves around helping those who struggle with overwhelmingly strong emotions and ineffective behaviors that get in the way of their goals or relationships. I teach my clients how to pause in life so that they can respond with decision and self respect rather than reacting from emotion. If you feel stuck, let me help. My approach is mindfulness based and goal oriented, while providing a nonjudgmental collaborative environment for us to discuss, set goals, and troubleshoot for progress. I help my clients learn new skills to manage life’s stressors, whether they’re internal stressors or external stressors from relationships and their environment. Doing what I do is so rewarding as I see my clients take initiative toward the life they see worth living. We’re all doing the best that we can, while also working to improve ourselves. Just by being here, you seem to be on that path as well.
