Parenting is a daunting task when families are functioning well. When struggles appear and children’s behaviors begin to cause concern either from acting out or because they are withdrawing, the task looms larger and asking for help is not easy. Children, adolescents and parents are on a journey of physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual development in which great demands often produce feelings of anger, sadness, frustration, worry, and fear. Hope and happiness are accessible by seeking help with a licensed professional counselor who engages in sound practices while facilitating healthy relationships. I primarily serve children, adolescents and their families with an attachment and play therapy focus, using other therapeutic approaches when it better meets the needs of my clients. I have a master’s degree (MA) in professional counseling from Liberty University where I obtained my degree integrating both psychology and theology.
