Therapist Overview
Throughout our lives we are constantly challenged with change and transition. Sometimes these periods of change are smooth and gradual but often our course in life can be altered in unforeseen ways. These changes can arise out of many issues such as aging, grief, loss, identity and trauma. Change can affect us at any period throughout our lives. From early childhood through our later years we encounter obstacles and issues that force us to adapt. It is through this adaptation that we learn to overcome our struggles, embrace our strengths and become our greatest selves. Learning to adapt, overcome and achieve at these difficult times is the focus of my practice. Understanding that we are all unique individuals with varied strengths guides the direction of therapeutic intervention. Services and therapy are solution focused and tailored to each persons innate unique abilities. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. My areas of specialty include issues pertaining to anxiety, depression, impulsivity, sports performance, crisis counseling, loss and coping. “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” Lao Tzu.
