Coming to therapy for the first time can be difficult. You have already taken a huge leap by reaching out for help. As a therapist, my goal is to help you feel grounded. By fostering an environment filled with warmth and unconditional positive regard, my hope is that together we can directly address what is getting in the way of your inner peace, and make the necessary changes towards wellness and personal success. I work with clients who have difficulty managing self-esteem, have trouble in their interpersonal relationships, suffer from anxiety or depression, or have experienced trauma. Using a holistic and strengths-based approach, I will support you in becoming more attuned to your thoughts, improving your tolerance level for feelings of discomfort, challenging unhelpful cognitions, and processing traumatic events. We will work to tackle unhelpful thoughts and behavior patterns that are preventing you from reaching your full potential. I am committed to working collaboratively, adapting treatment to meet your specific needs, and providing you with the tools you need so you can confidently practice what we learn in our sessions outside of therapy.
