Therapist Overview
Whether a child, adolescent, teen, or adult- life can present its own sets of challenges. Oftentimes, these challenges evoke feelings such as anxiety, anger, self-doubt, lack of control, shame, guilt, and sadness. Yet, for some individuals it may show up as physical body pains or unexplained changes in behavior. It can get messy, right? My goal is to hold a space where clients can gain more insight into their lives and values, while working towards a more confident version of themselves. I offer a person-centered approach that adapts to each client/family’s personal needs while remaining grounded in narrative framework. This allows us to explore how life experiences have shaped your views of yourself and how you interact with the world around you. We will draw on, expand, and reinforce your personal resources as we work towards your goals. I firmly believe that finding the right fit with a counselor where you feel comfortable, respected, and heard is a key part of the therapeutic process. I encourage you to reach out to see if we’re a good fit. My hope is for you to find the right counselor, even if it’s not with me.
