Therapist Overview
Therapy is something I believe we all can benefit from at some point and time in our lives. It is a place and space where we can unload all that we carry day-to-day, whether it be work, family stressors or past traumas. In taking the time to pause and build trust together, we get the opportunity to explore who we truly are and what we might want or need for ourselves and those we love. I come from a very diverse blended family that allowed for my seeing the world from many perspectives. This has informed the type of therapist I choose to be, one that is present, reflective and open to whatever may need to come into the room. I fully believe that you are the person in charge of your own work; I get to be the tool to support this process. My work has focused on supporting people through: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, LGBTQ Families, Individuals with Special Needs, Past Substance Use, Families of First Responders, Immigration, Homelessness, Adoption & Divorce I am a strong believer in the power and importance of relationships and laughter. I am a Bay Area native that has spent years working within many different communities with many needs. I have found a beauty in embracing the diverse experience and perspectives of others in order to better join in supporting you along this next step in your life’s journey.
