Kate’s goal is to bring a compassionate, and non-judgemental strong clinical background to meet clients where they are currently struggling. She can help facilitate and explore healthy ways to cope, accept, and move through difficult emotions that are keeping you stuck. Kate is also a certified Mental health professional in Horse Assisted Psychotherapy. If you are interested in more information regarding this experiential modality call or email Kate for more information. Horse assisted psychotherapy is an option only at the Lockport location. Kate Lambie attended Concordia University, receiving a Master’s degree in Community Counseling. Kate is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and works with an array of modalities with a client centered approach. Kate also specializes in working with trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, as well as the LGBTQ community. Kate’s current availability in the Chicago location is Mondays and Tuesdays. Kate’s availability in the Lockport location is Sundays and Wednesdays. The Lockport location has the option of traditional talk therapy and/or Horse assisted psychotherapy services.
