Therapist Overview

*WEEKEND THERAPIST* Feeling stuck? Having a difficult time? I provide a safe, accepting, and comfortable space to help you gain insight into patterns in your thoughts, behaviors, and interactions that keep you feeling stuck or cause ongoing distress/problems. Together we will look at altering these patterns to enhance understanding and create meaningful change in your life. I will meet you where you are at, support your individual needs, unique strengths, personality style, and I approach my work from a culturally sensitive perspective. I can do short-term treatment for symptom relief or longer-term, more insight-oriented approach. We all need extra support at times. I have additional training in Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy for individuals with cancer or a terminal illness. I have experience working with individuals coping with multicultural, acculturation, and adjustment issues. I offer both Sat and Sun hours for your convenience. Flexibility for working professionals & students! My practice is LGBTQ affirming and welcoming of all ethnicities & religious/spiritual beliefs (atheistic too). My bi-cultural background and strong interest in other cultures has provided me experience and appreciation for a wide range of people and perspectives. Whatever your situation, we will work together to create an experience that is helpful to you.
