Therapist Overview
Whatever your reasons are for coming to therapy, I acknowledge the courage it takes to walk in through my office door. Clients come to therapy for a number of reasons, such as grief and loss, low self-esteem, trauma, worries about life transitions, relationship & family struggles, and spiritual crises. Working across the lifespan, I engage clients in the process of re-defining who they are that feels the most authentic to themselves. Additionally, I am curious about how the cultural systems we are part of trickle down to each individual and influence how we see ourselves and our relationships with others. My clinical “toolbox” includes mindfulness, trauma-informed lens, existentialism, diversity practices, and a nonjudgmental stance. I welcome individuals, couples, and families of all races, ethnicities, immigrant statuses, gender identities, sexual orientations, socioeconomic statuses, and ability statuses.
