Therapist Overview
I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy services to people of all gender expressions and sexual orientations ages 15 and up. Areas of expertise include eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, interpersonal conflict, personality disorders, and others. Some areas of specific clinical interest of mine include disordered eating, gender/sexuality concerns, relationship issues, and substance use. I incorporate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities depending on client needs including ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and expressive arts therapies. I practice from a Health At Every Size perspective and also implement some strategies which are targeted at regulating and resourcing the central nervous system and the body as a whole. Therapy can be a useful tool when someone is looking for a number of different things, including a listening ear, validation, processing, significant change, and self-exploration. My goal is to create a safe space for this important work to happen, and I see myself as a partner with clients in that process.
