“Hi, my name is Andy and I know it’s tough to struggle with the pain and stigma attached to substance abuse. It doesn’t seem fair that other chronic illnesses such as cancer, diabetes or heart disease don’t have the shame and stigma attached to them that alcoholism does. Dealing with any substance abuse is difficult enough not to have to also think of yourself as a bad person because I have this illness. I have worked with many people to help them find solid and sustained sobriety. I’m here to be your companion on that journey. I’ve been in clinical practice for several years, primarily focused on working with people who are making the transition from needing mood altering substances to live to lifestyles that are clean and sober.
