Therapist Overview

TQYC offers FREE individual and group therapy for LGBTQ+ youth in middle school and high school. We meet on zoom every Thursday from 5-6 and have extra virtual events regularly. Our mission is to create a space for transgender, non-binary, and queer youth who are isolated and struggling with mental illness to develop and sustain a sense of well-being and become connected to their community. Anyone interested can join our open Thursday zoom meeting (ID: 115 855 195). We also have a parents’ and guardians Facebook group to stay in the loop about events: https://www.facebook.com/groups/796029484192455/ More info can be found at: TQYC.org Facebook.com/tqyouthcollective or Instagram: @transqueeryouthcollective TQYC is funded by a grant from Sacramento County, and participation in all services is completely free. At this time we are only able to work with LGBTQ+ youth in middle school and high school (grades 6-12) and Julie Strathdee is only accepting new psychotherapy clients within this
