Therapist Overview

I believe that everyone has the ability to live a balanced and fulfilling life. Change is inevitable and natural. During challenging times, we seek the path back to our inner wisdom. As a school counselor and teacher for twenty five years, I learned a great deal about how unique our learning and personality styles are. I enjoy helping adults and adolescents embrace who they are to gain clarity, improve relationships, cope with stress, and regain a sense of well-being. I place a high value on a therapeutic, non-judgmental relationship centered around deep listening. Although making change can be hard work, the process should also be inspirational and enjoyable. In addition to solution-focused, and CBT, I integrate art, expressive arts, ecotherapy, and mindfulness into sessions, helping you to access your true self. We are living in a world full of change. A therapeutic process that integrates the mind, emotions, spirit, and body is relevant. I will help you rediscover your unique life vision and capitalize on your strengths in order to find your way to wellness and wholeness.
