Is your family going through life changes and you want your child to have a safe person to talk to? Is your child struggling and you just want the old him or her back? Many children and teens are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, school issues, or relationship concerns. I utilize evidence-based practices to help your child or adolescent get through these issues so that they can live a full life. I am trained in EMDR- a therapy that is utilized to reduce the distress that one feels about a traumatic memory. A variety of things can be considered trauma so just because you feel you haven’t gone through something “that big” doesn’t mean that it won’t work for you. I know that sometimes going to therapy can be intimidating but I would love to walk alongside you or your child to bring healing from the darkness.
