Therapist Overview
People seek therapy for many different reasons. For some people, there are feelings of unhappiness that go back to childhood. For others, help is needed to cope with challenges that come up such as family conflict, parenting stress, grief and loss, feeling “stuck”, or anxious. Through therapy, you will find a safe and supportive environment where you can explore the issues troubling you, and grow in your ability to address these issues. My therapeutic style is friendly, warm, and empathetic. Clients feel understood and supported, yet also challenged to learn and grow. Together, clients work with me to set goals for therapy and stay on track to reach those goals. I am an integrative therapist, which means I use more than one way/theory/model to help my clients achieve their goals. Whether it is your first time in therapy or not, reaching out to begin can be difficult. I understand that and want to help you through the process. I offer a 15 minute consultation where we can begin to get to know each other without pressure or expectations.
