Therapist Overview
I believe that within each of us there lies uncharted terrain, eagerly waiting to be explored. Therapy can be a great tool to explore those domains. My primary therapeutic approach is Relational Psychodynamic Psychotherapy which means building an authentic therapeutic bond, exploring relational themes from childhood, and dynamics in the present moment are key components to my therapeutic work. Within this modality I integrate experiential components such as art, music, visualizations, mindfulness/meditation, movement and more. I believe that approaching therapy in these ways can offer a more embodied, formative experience. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, women’s issues, trauma, existential questions, shame, learning difficulties, chronic illness, systemic issues, and aging. I have also received specialized training in domestic violence, intersectional feminism, body psychotherapy, and art therapy to address those concerns holistically. Please note
