I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) in Indiana and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor(RPT-S) in Indiana. I enjoy working with children who are experiencing social, emotional and behavioral difficulties. I am able to demonstrate comprehensive play therapy knowledge and experiences while still maintaining active Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor credentials. I am also currently working as a board member for Indiana Association for Play Therapy. I have received extensive play therapy training, which includes sand tray, Theraplay level one and Child-Centered Play Therapy 101. I mostly use Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). CCPT is play-based as well as Evidenced-Based Child Therapy intervention for children from ages 3 to 10. Establishing relationships are the foundation for therapeutic change in play therapy processes. My primary focus is to provide safe environments and conditions to children to help them feel fully accepted. I believe children have their internal strength and skills to create positive changes and improve functionings.
