Therapist Overview
“I believe we are all extremely unique with very individualized backgrounds, histories, and beliefs.” My professional philosophy evolved from my own diverse personal and professional experiences including living overseas and practicing in multiple settings including medical, social services, and mental health. My journey started when completing my Masters of Social Work Degree from Eastern Washington University in 2011. Since graduating, I have obtained my Independent Clinical Social Work License, Mental Health Professional and Child Mental Health Specialist Certifications. My specialty areas of interest include: adoption, foster care, cultural/minority issues, attachment, and trauma. In order to assist in your journey, a variety of therapeutic modalities, strategies and approaches will be utilized. This includes, Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Attachment Theory, to name a few. If you or a family member is struggling, please feel free to contact me and we can work together to identify a personalized plan to minimize anxiety, depression, negative thoughts and beliefs, while healing through pain and trauma.
