Therapist Overview
Are you recently divorced and find yourself asking- now what?? Divorce can be a very challenging and painful process, but also presents an opportunity to take an in depth look at your life, your choices, and your desires. Take advantage of this life transition by getting to know yourself better so that you can stop repeating negative and destructive patterns and learn how build and maintain positive relationships with yourself, your children and your ex! No single approach is the right one for every individual so, having been trained as an expressive arts therapist, I utilize a variety of techniques, therapeutic approaches and a broad range of creative modalities (such as art, music, movement, drama, etc), to facilitate solution-focused healing, trauma resolution, positive change and personal growth. I have specialized training in creative movement, dance, yoga, meditation, and trauma-informed practice. I believe that when an individual taps into an inner creative source, they can uncover deeper levels of subconsciousness and use that for a more profound sense of healing.
