My overall goal for each client is to work on obtaining balance within a healthy lifestyle. Through obtaining balance one’s symptoms can lessen and each individual and/or couple can focus on the positive attributes of their life and move forward towards reaching their goals. Daily stressors are inevitable and it is essential to build coping strategies for how to handle stress and combat negative thinking patterns. Creating behavior changes is another focal point of psychotherapy and beneficial in wanting to create a sense of structure and consistency in one’s relationships and overall life. I also work with Eating Disorders and food addictions. It is essential to have a positive relationship with food to obtain a healthy lifestyle. Working with client’s to develop an individualized meal regulation structure and incorporate mindful eating habits. This can be helpful for weight loss and for those with binge eating patterns.
