Taking the first steps towards treatment can often seem intimidating and overwhelming; we’re not sure what we’re getting ourselves into or if we’re even ready to make a change. I find that a compassionate and empathetic manner, coupled with a sense of humor, is the most effective way to make sure that you feel heard. Therapy should always be about your own individual process and the unique set of circumstances that have led you to treatment. We’ll work together to address any concerns that you might have, and do so at a pace that you’re comfortable with. I started my career over 15 years ago, providing psychotherapy and counseling to people of all ages. I graduated from The Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 2009, and am now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New York.
