Therapist Overview
Women’s physical and mental health is something I value for both myself and my clients. I specialize in helping women navigate some of the most delicate experiences in life. Whether you are trying to start a family, going through a loss, have experienced birth trauma, are transitioning to parenthood, are facing a postpartum mood/anxiety disorder, extended NICU stay, or have a child with medical complexity- it can be physically and emotionally exhausting. You are not alone. I help women build effective coping strategies and the support they need to care for themselves and their families. I have specialized training in pregnancy and postpartum mental health care, including the Postpartum Support International’s Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorder Certificate Training. My practice is focused providing a safe place for you to share your journey via office sessions, tele-health, or walk & talk therapy (when MN weather is cooperating). Healing from my own difficult birthing experience and subsequent postpartum anxiety/panic disorder, gave me a deeper understanding of how much strength women truly have. I strive to create a warm, empathic environment that feels safe, supportive, and allows us to explore the highs and lows of your unique journey.
