Therapist Overview
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, families, couples and individuals desiring to improve the quality of their lives. My training and 13 years of providing therapeutic care has taught me that “perception is reality.” I will help you explore your perceptions and beliefs about your life, relationships, family, upbringing, work and more. Together, we will work to help you alter your perceptions, thoughts and behaviors so that you can become the best version of yourself. No one is and no one needs to be perfect! And no one needs to be alone while working through major life issues. I assure you of a judgement-free relationship and will honor your unique values and perspectives as you process, recover, and grow through personal and relationship changes (from marital communication to divorce recovery). I utilize various techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, applied behavioral analysis, mindfulness and systems therapy. I obtained my master’s degree in clinical psychology at Cardinal Stritch University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology at UW- Milwaukee. My personal interests include camping, fishing, reading, film and time with my three daughters.
