She/Her/Hers
At our core, we embrace a feminist perspective that seeks to empower every individual and honor the diverse lived experiences of each person. Therapy, to us, is a voyage of self-discovery, exploration, and empowerment. Central to this journey is collaboration, ensuring that you feel deeply engaged in the changes you seek for your life.
Therapist Overview
My multicultural background, experiences as a woman of color, and identity as a first-generation immigrant from India have shaped my journey as a psychotherapist. Growing up in a collectivistic and patriarchal society, I often felt unheard, navigating microaggressions and a lack of autonomy. This gives me a unique understanding of how systems of oppression can affect one’s sense of self, and I integrate cultural awareness into my work to help clients break free from feeling unseen and unheard, my focus is on establishing and nurturing client-centered, one-to-one relationships.
Through reflection and reinterpretation of lived experiences, I’ve found healing and growth, and I strive to help clients on a similar path toward self-fulfillment and self-worth. Life can be challenging, but I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and transformation.
I believe that every individual possesses infinite worth and the capacity for transformation, and we will work to let your story empower you, celebrating your victories along the way. Together we will keep achieving more goals and find ways to cope and heal with an approach that fits your needs.
