Therapist Overview
According to Berne Brown, “we can’t be brave in the big world without at least one small space to work through our fears and falls.” I would like to provide you with that space to work through current issues, future goals or past trauma. I take a warm, non-judgemental, culturally humble, and compassionate stance with my clients, providing them with a safe space, the opportunity for psycho-education and introducing them to coping skills that can make a difference in their lives. I believe that everyone is different and therefore individually tailor therapy for my clients. I specialize in working with people of colour & immigrant populations. I also work with children, adolescents & adults. I have experience working with individuals that experience anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management & relationship concerns. Approaches that I use are not limited to but include mindfulness- based CBT, ACT and DBT. Seeking help takes a tremendous amount of courage. Whether you are struggling, or just need someone to talk to, I am here to listen and help you navigate through life’s curveballs or day to day stressors. Reaching out is the first step to change!
