ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!!! Seeking counseling isn’t easy but if you are reading this you have already completed a very important first step. We all need help sometimes, whether it is to share your story with someone or to get more long-term support to move toward your most efficient daily functioning. I believe in creating a friendly and supportive environment to partner with you to create counseling goals. Some of the approaches I use are short term solution focused counseling, person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness training among others. I have worked extensively with children, young adults, and parents from diverse backgrounds in a school setting. I began my career as an academic advisor for college students. I realized that I was doing more social, emotional and career counseling than academic advisement and I enjoyed that level of interaction. I like to make time for traveling, experimenting in the kitchen, streaming a good series, doing anything active, and being outdoors. Most importantly, I enjoy quiet moments.
