Therapist Overview
Life happens, both good and bad, and our perceptions of our experiences impact our choices, behaviors and quality of life. Whatever our circumstances, I believe we have the ability to make the best decisions for our lives. Yet, sometimes we need someone to help us put things into perspective. My job is to help you understand yourself holistically. Through exploring various aspects of your life, culture, thoughts, emotions and behaviors, we will gain awareness of factors that contribute to conflict and barriers in your life. Collaboratively, we will work to shift your perspective to increase your clarity, balance and fulfillment. I offer individual, couples, and group therapy in a safe, supportive, authentic, and culturally sensitive space. I value the client-therapist relationship, but will challenge your thoughts and behaviors, which can be difficult at times. Those who are open, honest and engage in reflection both in and out of the session get the most out of therapy with me. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, feeling stuck, life and career barriers, mind shifting, stress management, goal-planning, mindfulness/breathing, self-esteem, identity, and relationships (social and romantic). I also work with college students and early career professionals in areas including academic and career development.
