Therapist Overview
*Currently not accepting clients* Life can be challenging as we navigate an ever winding path. Determining which choice to make is not always clear. My goal is to provide you with a safe, compassionate and empathic environment to explore your problems, working collaboratively toward finding your best self. I have spent the past 11 years working with adolescents and families to learn new techniques to handle life’s twists and turns, while healing from past traumas. I work with individuals and families to explore together ways to improve strengths and overcome deficits to learn new ways to cope with the world. I am trained as a licensed clinical social worker from Columbia University School of Social Work and have spent a significant amount of time providing therapy and running programs for adolescent girls’ and their families. I am equipped to help individuals address trauma, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and systems issues. I work with a multitude of modalities, including but not limited to Dialectical Behavior Therapy and EMDR . As a faculty trainer for Risking Connection: A Curriculum for Working With Trauma Survivors, I believe that rapport and comfort with the therapist is important in the work. I hope to be a good fit for you to help you move toward a more fulfilling life.
