I am an experienced Therapist. I offer counseling to couples, families and individuals. Most couples that I work with have strengths and struggles. I assist them in tuning-up their communication and problem solving skills. Individuals are often seeking therapy to better understand and treat their symptoms; such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, past unresolved issues. Causes are many; including relationship conflict, parenting, aging, illness, jobs and other life stressors. I have experience working with gay/lesbian individuals. My goal as your therapist is to listen to you nonjudgmentally and offer you insight into your issues. We go at your pace and explore ways to reduce or resolve your concerns. I am to be a resource to you in guidance towards resolution that fits you. My therapeutic approach has developed over the years through experience, study and trainings. Some of the models I draw from are Gottman, Hendrix, Jung and DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy). I offer an affordable sliding fee scale and a free consultation.
